The Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program is designed to provide training as an entry-level pharmacy technician within a variety of contemporary pharmacy settings. Students will learn the skills needed to assist licensed pharmacists from topics such as: patient assistance, pharmacy practice settings, processing and handling medications and medication orders, sterile and non-sterile compounding, procurement, billing, reimbursement, inventory management, patient and medication safety, technology and informatics, regulatory issues, and quality assurance.
